Well, Youngjin, one of those "sources of ingredients" your cartoon questions is supernovas. Exploding stars dispersing elements, including heavy elements like carbon and iron, through interstellar space, across the universe over billions of years. Allowing for life like human beings to be formed. We're remnants of stars—stardust, if we're allowed to wax poetic. All of which gets recycled—environmentalism on a cosmic scale.

Your comment reminds me of the last quote from the movie "Gattaca", which goes on like this:
"For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I'm suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I'm not leaving... maybe I'm going home."

'Stardust' always sounds good, doesn't it? House dust not so nice - but obviously the same thing!

There's still many mysteries to 'where did things come from' aren't there? Like whre did all the water on Earth come from...

Scientists say that the Earth's water came from meteorites that were made outside of our solar system.
Pretty much all the planets were hit by these meteorites, but only our planet managed to keep large amounts of water in liquid form.
